Hi, I’m Nicki a freelance photographer living in Brooklyn NY. I specialize in portraiture, live music and event photography. I have been documenting the punk/diy scene for over two decades and have gotten at least two black eyes from my camera hitting my face in a pit. I am an energetic person with a loud laugh, a big smile and I like to say hello to dogs on the street.
I shoot vivid, graphic, fun photos. I love making connections, making people feel at ease and creating images that feel like conversations between the subject and me. I love the energy of live events and finding a way to translate that into a still image. I love exploring new places and finding the small things that make places and people unique.
I want to meet you, I want to take your picture, I want to make you laugh and make you look cool.
